I resort to images as a tool to observe, analyze, and reflect on my life, exploring concerns that arise from personal experience and extend beyond it. Painting functions as a pause—a moment of contemplation—through which I respond to and pursue the sensations that emerge from my daily life.

I am not interested in painting as a way to tell stories or illustrate ideas, but as a space where intuition and uncertainty confront the viewer with their own reading.

I use elements from my daily life, found images, and objects as models. I understand painting as visual poems, daydreams, or silent apparitions, where the ambiguity in the elements depicted leaves the space open to interpretation, allowing the familiar to become strange, and the strange to become familiar.
